Beloved Daughter

Obtain your destiny.
Here is your purpose:
Speak forth the vision you have been given.
You have been called.
You have been chosen.
You are so precious.
Bring your color to the world.
You are unique—no one else could replace.
Obtain, maintain, sustain My spirit.
Come forth and birth;
Bring froth the gifts I have placed in you.
You’ve been given so much;
I want to give you much more.
Open your heart—all My kingdom is yours.
Your inheritance awaits for you to take hold.

I feel like God has given everyone the potential for greatness. This poem is written to invoke that passion in his daughters. And yes, if you haven’t figured it out already, I am a Christian. This piece also takes on new death as I welcome my own daughter into the world.

Where does your strength come from? What do you think of the poem? I would love to hear about it in the comments below.
