A Prayer

Father help me to make friends,
And always to be true.
Help me love and reach out to them,
And find worth in myself too.

Short and soulful, this prayer in poem form was something that just came to me one day. It kind of embodies that desire to love and be loved, though this is more in the realm of friendship rather than romantic love. I love the innocence and simplicity of this piece.
