The secrets between Brie and her brother Pilot no longer stand in the way, but Pilot’s close friend Rykken stands on the edge of a dangerous world, and no one’s sure if he’s meant to be a part of it.

Meanwhile, Thessa and Kennedy are working their sides of the situation, and their opposing goals are destined to clash.

Review

I love that this book delves a little deeper into some romance aspects, and brings in some exciting elements for Rykken. Serena also steps up a little more in this book, and makes some big decisions that will affect the whole Hallow and Nephilim worlds. The stakes are getting higher, the drama deeper, and the secrets keep unraveling, even as more add on. And omg, that last scene with Kennedy!

Curious to see where things go in the next book. Bring it on!

**There is some mild swearing in the books.
