My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Description

In the PSS Chronicles series, PSS (a condition manifesting as a ghostly portion the body) is a relatively new phenomenon in the world, the first case showing up around 20 years ago, but that hasn’t stopped factions from forming, one bent on exalting those with PSS and the other bent on researching and exploiting the incredible potential this new substance has provided.

A group of PSS young adults are fighting back, but with the odds stacked against them, how can they possibly change the world?

Review

Buy the series. You’ll want to binge read the entire thing, I can guarantee you.

The plot starts so simple in book 1, and then gets deeper and deeper as you travel down the rabbit hole of story. There are some parts of the story that are hard to take (I’m looking at you, Nose and Yale), but the richness and depth of emotion are hard to match.

It took forever to pick this up because I knew I’d want to be glued to it until I got it finished, but it was so worth it.

If you love young adult fiction, romance, thrilling plots, action, suspense, and the kinds of twists and turns that keep you up past your bedtime, you’ll love the PSS Chronicles series.

**These books are not clean. There is plenty of swearing, some of it pretty hardcore, some steamy romance but nothing explicit, and the torture in book 3 may be trigger-ish for some.
