Poem: Revival in Me

Angel Leya's search for God led to this plea for revival. It is ultimately a poem about the hope that her faith in Jesus brought - to know and be known.

Revival in Me

Create in me a new heart,
Because that is where revival begins.
I will give the whole, not just a part–
To hold any back would be a sin.
For You have given me Your all.
You gave Your precious Son
That I might stand strong and tall.
In Your presence, my sin is gone.

Again, I wrote this poem in my search for God. It was such a pure and innocent plea, and it came with such hope. God does care, and he wants us to know Him. He knows us intricately, even down to the number of hairs on our head, according to one verse.

What have you given your all to? Has it brought you fulfillment or has it sapped you dry? Let’s talk about your experience in the comments below.
