All Good Things

Looking around
All I can see
Is Your face
In every good thing.

God, You’re good.
God, You’re great.
God, You control all fate.

Looking inside
All I can see
Is Your love
Abounding in me.

God, You’re great.
God, You’re good.
You bring sun to my mood.

Praise to God.
Praise from all.
God, You are wonderful!

Can you believe this is the last of my poems? It’s been a wild journey. We have gone from the tops of the mountains to the depths of despair. We have explored friendship and romantic love. This last piece is a poem of praise. In the end, no matter what terrible thing I go through or what wonderful thing I experienced, God is the constant. He is good. Not tame, not a pushover, but definitely and overwhelmingly good.

What good things do you have in your life? What are you thankful for? Let’s talk about it in the comments below.

I I’m thankful for a whole lot of things but one of them mostly is you!
